KEEPSAKE BRIDAL BOUQUETS

I'm absolutely charmed by these keepsake bridal bouquets! I never imagined fabric flowers, twisted metal, ribbons and knit bouquets could be so elegant -so eco - friendly and sure last you a lifetime! Fabric rosettes are the perfect bouquet for the whimsical bride...the ultimate accessory for your spring, summer or winter wedding and I especially love that you can display this wonderful memento of your special day in your home for years to come.  Add why not add some color and flair to your wedding bouquet with ribbons! How cute is the knit wedding bouquet - so pretty and cozy. What a creative idea, especially for a fall or winter wedding. I bet it will keep your hands warm, too! And for the artistically inclined bride, this twisted copper metal bouquet is definitely a signature piece to treasure forever.

SIMPLY CHIC RUFFLES

I am frilled to bits with the latest trend in wedding cakes – ruffles! I just adore the ruffle wedding cake and now there's a cake ruffle craze... with ruffles and ruffles of fluffy buttercream, you can almost taste how delicious these gorgeous cakes are before even taking a bite, which really is what cake is all about!

PRETTY PASTELS

For a dreamy, romantic touch, I just love the fresh modern take of soft, pastel palettes and textures. Sorbet yellows, peaches, creams, blues, mints, and greys; pastels are perfect for spring and summer weddings... light, airy and absolutely gorgeous! Louis Vuitton's 2012 Spring/Summer Ad Campaign draws inspiration from this very much on trend style and I now have a new dress crush - softly coloured bridal dresses!!!

Every once a while I find something which I get really excited about and can’t resist sharing here with everyone here on Brides Of Adelaide. When I spotted the new “Forage” line of bow ties it was definitely one of those moments. Using just the perfect combination of fabrics, fun colours and patterns, these lovelies would make a really cool statement piece for all the boys!

TABLE NUMBERS

When it comes to adding that certain je ne sais quoi to your wedding table scape, it’s more than just flowers, centrepieces and bombonniere… Creative table numbers are just one example of how to add that extra layer of effortlessly chic fashion style to your wedding reception tables.  I just love the simplicity of these table numbers. Slate boards with either chalk, paint or marker work really well as a contrast to the delicate softness of flowers, whilst engraved vintage spoons and covered books are a great alternative to the traditional 'numbers'...

NAPKINS

The colour and the way you place your napkins can make a huge difference to your table setting. You can choose a simple fold in a crisp white, something a little more colourful and creative or you can go with an option completely out of the box and unexpected. I love the fresh colours in these first two images, especially the way the have been carried through into the rest of the place setting. I also really like the twist fold of the last image which I think would look even more impressive in person! Linens are often neglected when it comes to planning your details, but they really can be as much a part of your colour scheme or concept as the centerpieces and other decorations so don't settle for white simple fold unless it's white simple fold you want!

SOMETHING BLUE

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue... Something blue AND fun? Whether you wear them for the ceremony or change into them just for the reception, the statement shoe trend is a fabulous way to bring a little colour and wow factor to your day as well as your ensemble. Why not make them blue to cover any superstitions too? If that's not your style why not consider a pair with a cobalt blue sole or lining, perhaps even a splash of blue nail polish? You could even decorate the sole in the arch of your stiletto with a cobalt diamante 'I do' or wedding date. Of all the something blue choices, shoes are certainly up there among my favourites!

WEDDING CLUTCHES

A bridal clutch is an absolute must for all your touch up bits and pieces, not to mention copious amounts of tissues! I love these classic and elegant Cady Briar designs from Sara.C. I especially love that Sara. C accessories are more than happy to take custom orders! Included in the price is embroidery of a monogram, name or wedding date on the inside of each clutch, making it an even more fabulous keepsake. If you're wondering what to give your bridesmaids as a thank you present, what a sweet and useful idea to choose a fabric that ties in with their dresses (even as a lining if you want to stick to a white or ivory exterior) and having a personal message embroidered to each one. A lovely way to make another detail just that little bit more personal!

GROOMS CUFF LINKS

When it comes to cuff links there are plenty of options. I mean LOTS. Whether you are looking for something traditional or something quirky you have so many fabulous pairs to choose from and that's before you even begin to look at those that are custom made! You really can find anything your heart desires. Cuff link's are a great gift for groomsmen, father of the bride and/or groom as well as obviously a very sweet token for the one you love. You can opt for a little comedy in your cuff link, perhaps a reference to your birth place or home (as seen in the 'home' inspired styling shoot in the current issue of Brides Of Adelaide magazine), a classic monogram, photo cuff link's would be a touching alternative to a locket, or even gift your sweetheart a pair complete with your finger print! Whichever style you choose, the added benefit of a present such as this is that you know they will be worn again and again and that every time they are, they will be a small reminder of a wonderful day.
